The cost of our weight loss and fat loss programs vary depending upon your health and your health needs. We'll work through your insurance company, but there might be certain add-ons not covered by insurance.

Our patients can typically lose 10-50 pounds in 3-6 months, however, weight loss is extremely variable and will depend upon your body and health. Personal Primary Care offers a physician-supervised weight loss program to ensure that you're losing weight in a healthy way and stay on your weight loss journey. The program includes a comprehensive exam and a review of your body composition and diagnostics using our Medical Body Composition Analysis scale and Boston Heart Diagnostics testing. Dr. Khan can prescribe and de-prescribe medication, because certain medications can cause you to actually gain weight while others can be used to help you lose weight. Personal Primary Care offers lifestyle coaching and management, encouraging you to get eight hours of sleep a night, eating locally-grown food, exercising regularly, and take your medication and vitamins.

Your weight loss results can vary, just as your weight loss, but once you've made lifestyle choices, you should begin to feel better with changes. These changes can be subtle or variable depending upon your body type. The goal isn't to lose weight quickly but be able to keep it off through making healthy lifestyle choices. The non-invasive analysis only takes 17 seconds, and you'll receive an easy-to-read analysis that informs you of where your health stands. All you have to do is stand on the scale!


The mBCA scale measures your fat mass, total body water, visceral adipose tissue, skeletal muscle, and more. These measurements will be incorporated into your personalized weight loss program. They can help us set and reach your weight loss goals because we have a base analysis of your weight, height, and overall health.

The field of medications to treat the chronic disease of obesity is exploding, and we have many new medications that can work along with lifestyle modifications to help with weight management and weight loss. These include Contrave, Qsymia, Phentermine, Metformin, Topamax, Belviq, Saxenda, and several new medications to manage type 2 diabetes.


Also you might be inadvertently on medications that cause weight gain or increase your risk of getting obese. We will work with you and your health care providers to identify these medications and replace them with weight neutral medications when and if appropriate.
